Funeral performance. The body of the politician is decorated with fruits and vegetables, covered with a canopy of dark sheets of marshmallow sewn together, similar to skin. Ministers drink black viscous liquid from plastic bottles through straws, eat black food from shovels during a memorial meal. Security picks up crumbs from the table. In the finale, the insurgent president reads a sermon on healthy eating from the house book of the Stalin era. The memory of hunger. The destruction of food for political reasons, Luxury and poverty. Food as a metaphor, symbol, decoration and props. The performance was created for the Styrian Autumn Festival, Graz, Austria. Joint production with the Meyerhold Center.
